An e-commerce experience for the world’s largest diamond store

The largest retailer of diamonds online, USAA tapped Red to create the ultimate interactive shopping experience for their customers — one that not only teaches shoppers how to select select the perfect diamond for their budget; but that also enables them to sort through more than 20,000 diamonds to find the perfect stone, then virtually place it on a setting, to “see” the final piece before purchasing it.  Red provided digital strategy, information architecture, design and front-end development of the new site. We also developed unique educational tools, interactive widgets like diamond sizing and pricing sliders, and a shopping cart/transaction engine that provides iron-clad security, leading to USAA’s continued leadership and financial success in diamond e-commerce.
